pF Tracer One

The pF Tracer One TM is a tool for measuring and reading the soil hydric potential (pF) exclusively by connection to the dedicated gypsum sensor. Developed by WETRUF, it is the result of research conducted at INRAE. The monitoring of the pF allows to adapt the water supply in an optimal way in order to guarantee a good productivity, even in periods of drought. To find out more, see Our concept, our innovation.

The implementation of the pF Tracer One TM is extremely simple and fast: you just have to connect it to a gypsum sensor previously installed in the ground, the measurement is done instantly or via the reading button. The portability of the pF Tracer One TM reader allows regular measurements to be taken on a whole network of installed sensors and makes it an indispensable tool for the truffle grower for good watering management.
